Southern Company Chorus Leadership

Our chorus thrives because of the energy and style of the people who have stepped up to lead. Here are a few of the people that make our ensemble tick:

 

Linda Verzosa - Director

Southern Company Chorus is proud to have Linda Verzosa as our director.  Linda has been a Sweet Adeline for 20 + years and has competed Internationally with the Toast of Tampa, and regionally in different quartets. She holds a music degree from the Abilene Christian University, Abilene Tx, in Music Education. She taught music at the elementary level for many years and currently teaches music lessons in her home and is also a Sr. Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.  Linda sings bass in our wonderful quartet -- Hot 4 Harmony, and holds a dual membership with both Southern Company Chorus and the Toast of Tampa. A fun-loving ambitious lady!!

Heidi Noyes - Team Coordinator

Heidi is a member of the board, the music team and is chorus coordinator. She runs our chorus meetings and is in close contact with our director regarding all things chorus.
 

   Marion Patton

  Marion is a member of our board, music team, showteam, is our finance coordinator and is bass section leader.

  Shirley Litton

Shirley is a member of the music team and the baritone section leader. She had 12 years of classical piano training and sang in the choirs of Junior High and High School. She also sang in a mixed octet at Unity Church in Vancouver Washington in the 1980's.

  Julie Wallace

Julie is a member of the music team as well, and is tenor section leader. She is the tenor in the 'Hot 4 Harmony' quartet.
